Portix Global is a UK-registered facilitation and referral platform. We match UK importers with approved third-party customs clearance partners. We do not run a brokerage ourselves. Our independence is the feature, not a disclaimer.

Why a platform, not a broker.

    Most importers pick one broker, then stay.

    Works fine for one commodity class. Breaks when imports diversify, or the next shipment hits a specialism (TOR, NOVA, DEFRA) the broker rarely sees.

  2. 02The insight

    UK customs clearance is not a single skill.

    A broker excellent at textile imports is the wrong pick for a TOR claim or a vehicle NOVA filing. Specialism wins. Every shipment deserves a partner who handles that exact type routinely.

  3. 03The model

    We're paid by partners, not by you.

    A referral fee from the matched partner, never a markup on your customs bill. Our incentive: find the right specialist, not the most expensive one.

We are not

  • A customs broker. We do not file HMRC declarations.
  • A freight forwarder. We do not move goods.
  • A payment processor. We never hold customer funds.
  • A directory. We hand-match every enquiry.
Vetting

How we screen partners.

Every partner in the Portix network meets the criteria below before any enquiry is routed to them. Verification is on file and revisited annually.

HMRC authorisation
Current CHIEF or CDS submission authority, verified annually.
Professional indemnity
Minimum £2,000,000 cover. Certificate on file.
Cyber liability
Required given the volume of sensitive personal data we route to them.
Track record
Documented experience on the commodity class and trade lane we route them.
Regulatory authorisations
DEFRA, MHRA, SPS clearance authorities verified for controlled-goods routing.
Sanctions screening
Partner principals and the firm screened against the UK Sanctions List.
Compliance

Compliance and registration.

Company
Portix Global Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Company number on file with Companies House.
Data protection
Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Processing under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Funds
Portix Global never receives, holds, processes, or controls customer funds. All payments are made directly between customer and matched partner.
Customs operator status
Portix Global is not a customs broker, customs declarant, or freight forwarder. Customs services are performed by independent approved partners.
